The students will be exposed to laterally moving targets as well as targets that are directly approaching at them. Another circumstance one can find themselves in is being advanced upon by a person or persons intent on doing us harm, this course will expose you to both of those scenarios. This scenario will require a fast draw and engagement of that target quickly approaching us. In addition to learning the proper moving techniques we must first identify such target as a threat or as a non-threat. This lowlight Course is designed for advanced shooters that are proficient in the shooting fundamentals, basic manipulations, reloads and immediate action drills (malfunctions). The largest statistics in shootings occur at night or in low light conditions, so it stands to reason that we should train and be proficient shooting our pistols and rifles in those lowlight conditions. Due to the nature of this training we guarantee that we will test your skill level in basic manipulations, strong and support hand shooting, malfunction clearing and tactical/emergency reloads, all while using a separate handheld light or a dedicated gun mounted flashlight. The lowlight environment introduces unique characteristics to the shooting environment that is completely lacking from daylight training, making this a very challenging and complex environment to operate in. This class will reinforce the students skills in low light engagement techniques, how to use your light for superior tactical advantage, use of ambient light, night close quarters combat, use of cover, and movement. Whether you carry a gun as a CCW holder or you keep one next to your bed at night, you will benefit from this course and leave having built confidence at night and skill level.
